He has technical depth in technology areas of semiconductor fabrication, nanotechnology, medical devices, and advanced manufacturing with over 20 patents, book chapters, and scientific articles across these fields.

At Transient Electronics, Kaveh is part of the team responsible for the first line of products which include a suite of implantable, tunable, and fully biodegradable medical electronic devices for nerve stimulation. He is also on the Scientific Advisory Board for NanoOPS, a startup with disruptive technology for printing nano and microelectronics and sensors.

He is the former head of the electron beam division at Hitachi Zosen, a $5B Japanese company, where he established the operations in the US and Japan and led the new division commercializing electron accelerator technology for FDA-regulated markets. Prior to that, he was at AEB, a venture-backed startup with $65MM in funding. Kaveh was responsible for planning and executing the development of AEB’s flagship products in partnership with the executive team and ultimately directed the technology transfer through the core IP acquisition to Hitachi Zosen.

Earlier, he was heavily involved in early-stage product development and R&D efforts working on instruments and subsystems that control, power, and monitor critical parameters of advanced manufacturing processes at MKS Instruments.

Kaveh has also held a variety of consulting positions, providing technical due diligence, technology roadmap, business development, early-stage product development, and next-generation products for the past 15 years for global clients in Switzerland, Germany, Argentina, Japan, and the US.
