Propelling the small satellite revolution

Market Need
We are living in a New Space Age, where companies like SpaceXhave demonstrated the capability to conduct hundreds of satellite launches per year with hundreds of satellites per rocket. Despite the advancements in miniaturizing satellites and launching them into orbit, there is no supplier infrastructure to manufacture fuel-efficient satellite engines, called thrusters, in the quantities required to feed the unprecedented demand.

Spun out of Michigan Technological University, a fuel-efficient plasma thruster system tailored to the specific requirements of small sats and developed for mass production.

The Aurora Plasma Propulsion System
The highest-performing propulsion system in the world for small satellites. Leverages existing robotic tactical missile manufacturing techniques for large scale and efficient production.
