Ezgi Emiroglu

Ezgi Emiroglu draws from her experience running MIT’s largest entrepreneurship competition and founding a venture studio focused on commercializing cutting-edge MIT technologies.

Ezgi’s passion lies in using venture capital as a tool to address global challenges.

During her time at MIT, Ezgi developed model for a Venture Studio design to commercialize tech-driven innovations by providing early-stage strategic and operational support. Her work has focused on empowering technologists to become entrepreneurs, running pitch competitions at MIT and Harvard, offering one-on-one mentorship, and fostering social entrepreneurship communities.

As a John F. Kennedy Fellow at Harvard, Ezgi studied Adaptive Leadership under Professor Ronald A. Heifetz, earning a certificate in Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences. She was invited to serve as a teaching fellow, helping graduate students hone their abilities to analyze, mobilize, and lead through complex adaptive challenges.

Prior to pursuing graduate studies, Ezgi led strategy at a food and beverage company where she built and led cross-functional teams across supply chain, business development, brand management, D2C, and creative departments. During this time, she launched an award-winning in-house media company in partnership with Microsoft Design, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, United Nations Biodiversity, and the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Museum. Her work was recognized by the Webby Awards and Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas and featured at the World Biodiversity Forum, SXSW, NYCxDesign, and the Los Angeles and San Francisco Design Festivals. She also ran multi-brand campaigns with Nike, Herman Miller, OPI, Pantone, and more.

Ezgi has lived and worked in Turkey, Denmark, Canada, Australia, the Philippines, China, and the US. When not immersed in a pitch deck, you can find her in the kitchen cooking for a big group of friends.
