Shawna Sharkey
Vice President
Shawna joined Material Impact as Vice President, Finance in March 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sharkey worked as a finance consultant at Thomas H. Lee Partners supporting their finance and operations team.
Previously, she spent ten years as a Director at Standish Management, a specialized fund administrator focusing on private equity and venture capital funds.
She started her career as an auditor at KPMG, LLP in their investment management practice. Shawna received a B.S. in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Bentley University and an M.B.A. from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University. Ms. Sharkey is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts.
